Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Opening

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Ahava Healthcare of Alabaster, a Skilled Nursing Facility, is excited to announce we have a position available for a compassionate and qualified LPN professional. LPNs are a critical and important part of our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing sincere quality care centered around patient-driven outcomes, managing and aiding certified nursing assistances assigned to patient population, and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, family and physician on progress and changes to the person-centered care goals.

Responsibilities

• Document in the medical record clinical components related to Mar, Tar, progress notes, and assessments/observations.• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.• Observe patients under medicinal treatments to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid and meal intake and output. • Administer medications as prescribed. • Clean and dress wounds. • Competent and compassionate about caring for residents that may have foley Catheters, tracheostomies, peg tubes, urostomies, colostomies, IV’s, Piccs, Ports, Oxygen therapy, and wounds.• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed• Real time communication with patients’ family or responsible party with any changes to resident care.

Requirements
