Graduate of an AMA approved Resp Therapy educational program
Assesses patients, performs diagnostics, assists and consults with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Administers the prescribed therapy to patients based on physician orders. May also be required to become proficient in the operation of Pulmonary Lab, cardiovascular and neurology equipment and in the performance of related duties except where additional licensure is required. Will perform in areas of cardiology including electrocardiograms, echocardiography, cardiac and pulmonary stress testing, and electroencephalography where deemed competent.

Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA approve Respiratory Therapist educational program. Current licensure or temporary license by the Composite State Board of Georgia. Current RRT as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care within six (6) months of hire. Current AHA BLS certification. Current ACLS and NRP certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Current PALS certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire. Must have good working knowledge in the use of equipment used for the diagnosis and treatment of patients receiving routine and critical respiratory care. Must be knowledgeable in all phases of respiratory care equipment and procedures, especially in respiratory critical care.
