The Opportunity:
- Per diem Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner or Physician to join our Occupational Medicine service on as ‘as needed’ basis
- Available to work on occasional weekdays to cover scheduled staff leave at our South Sound clinic locations (Auburn, Fife, Kent, Lakewood, Olympia, Puyallup and/or Tacoma)
- Caring for patients with workplace related injuries; majority have Orthopedic related injuries
- Outpatient clinic (no inpatient) with no evenings, weekends or call
- Work with a supportive and engaged provider/administrative team in a service that has community/direct to employer relationships in addition to an employed provider referral base
- Potential to transition into a partial or full dedicated FTE over time as the service evolves
Background Profile:
- NP & PA Only: Minimum one year experience in Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics and/or Urgent Care as an Advanced Practice Provider OR 2+ years of experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care
- DOT Examiner Certification (obtained prior to or within 30 days of employment)
- Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
- Board certified by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
