Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Responsible for consultation and direction of social services in the Outpatient Psych Clinic. Conducts individual and group therapy while maintaining a caseload. Completes psychosocial assessments, daily case notes, treatment planning and updates while working with the multidisciplinary team. Responsible to work positively with the hospital team from patient admission to discharge. May be responsible to lead treatment team meetings. Responsbile for maintaining up to date records on the patient. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Demonstrates support of the Medical CenterΓÇÖs mission, values and vision in all actions and interactions with employees, patients, medical staff, guests and visitors through use of STAR key words: Service, Teamwork Accountability/Attitude, Reponsiveness
Requirements:
  • Current State Clinical Social work Licensure (LCSW or CSW)
  • Experience in all aspects of social service, with an emphasis in psychiatric work.
  • Current BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
  • Must complete I-LIFT safety training within 90 days of employment
  • CPI Certification obtained within 90 days of employment
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
Preferences:

  • Therapist experience is preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred
