Medical Assistant Job Opening

Full time position in private specialty practice for medical assistant demonstrating proven experience in medical office.

Daily duties will also include: - Room patients, perform manual vitals, complete necessary labs, history updates, medications and chief complaints on EPIC EHR - Provide assistance to either MDs or PAs with exams and testing - Assist with Rx refills - Process prior authorizations for prescriptions and obtain new patient information and/or records. We are seeking an organized, self- motivated and responsible team member with a minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office setting.

Experience:

• medical assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred)
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) (Preferred)
