Certified Medical Assistant Job Opening

We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to help out in all 3 of our locations. Morristown,Newport and Jefferson City. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN. Must be able to take a manual blood pressure and preform job duties and have the skills to preform the job efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take medical history
• Triage patients, take vital signs and take a proper medical history and obtain patient's medication list.
• Call in prescription refills.
• Answer nurse calls in a timely manner.
• Obtain lab results and other necessary items to scan into patient's chart for their upcoming appointments.
• Evaluate lab results and report all abnormal results to providers immediately.
• Go through electronic faxes and take care of any and all issues that need addressed in a timely manner.
• Provide assistance by assisting the front office staff by answering phones, and scheduling patient appointments.
• Must be able to take a manual blood pressure accurately.
• Work closely with all staff to provide the best medical care for our patients.
• Must be knowledgeable of EMR systems.

Job Qualifications:

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN. Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a medical practice.

• medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
