Hospice Director of Clinical Services Job Opening

Community Care Hospice, partner hospice of Shoals Home Healthcare and Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehab Center is a new, dynamic and growing hospice in the Shoals area. Our hospice has experienced significant growth in census and quality in the last year. CCH is locally-operated with an emphasis on providing evidenced-based and comprehensive hospice care.

Community Care Hospice is looking for an experienced registered nurse that will facilitate a crucial role in our Hospice agency as Director of Clinical Services. This position will report directly to the Administrator and will provide leadership and support to all clinical team members.

Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for the overall clinical oversight of the hospice program which will include training and management of the clinical field staff. The Director of Clinical Services will collaborate with the Quality Manager in preparing the agency for state licensure and Medicare certification surveys and ensure clinical staff is compliant with state and federal regulations and CoPs. Focus will be on assurance of excellence in quality of care and service.

Skills/ Requirements:

• Candidate will require at least 3 years of nursing
• 2 years of hospice or home health experience.
• Leadership experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and training skills with highly organizational skills.
• Needs to be comfortable and proficient with computer charting and able to learn the agency's clinical software program.
• Will ensure field staff is trained in clinical charting system.
• Require a caring, cheerful and compassionate attitude.
• Able to work in a very fast paced environment.
• Willingness to provide clinical support to staff as needed
• Supportive of agency's growth initiatives.
• Good understanding of QAPI, QA, state licensure regulations and Medicare conditions of participation.
• Must be an excellent mentor!!
