• Searcy, ArkansasEDIT 6/5/19: We are looking for someone who has interest and/or experience in caring for animals in a Vet Tech/Assistant Role. This is mandatory to be considered for the position. The job will have some Receptionist aspects, but not main role.
As a Vet Tech/Receptionist at Cats Only Vet Clinic the employee would be expected to cheerfully greet each client in person and on the phone. They would have to be able to move quickly, clean cages, do laundry, feed cats, assist with cats whether with the Doctor himself, or with a client. Employee must have good people skills in person and on the phone. They must be able to read and write well on medical charts and be sensitive to all details given by clients concerning their animals. They must be trainable, have a positive attitude, love cats, be able to communicate well with others, and work well with current staff. Employee must be honest, hard working, and able to be present when scheduled. We have an active Call In/Late Policy here at Cats Only that does result in termination if exceeded.
Schedule would be 8:30AM - "as needed" (normally around noon depending on how busy the schedule is that day) and again in the afternoon from 2:30PM - 5:30PM, Monday - Friday. Also required to be available every other Saturday from 8AM - 2PM, and/or Sunday to come to clinic and tend to cats if any present. But, Schedule is flexible upon hiring.
There is no paid time off offered, but requested time off is available two weeks in advance for all employees. We will offer a competitive wage to the right candidate. Please send us your resume.
