Social Services Director—Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home and Hospital. Requires Bachelors or Masters in Social Work. Prefer 3 years or more experience as a social worker. Must have an Alabama social work license. Employment requires screening potential long term care applicants for appropriate placement in nursing facility. Also includes assisting residents and families in the transition time from independent living to long term care. Assisting those patients who may prepare to return to independent living with necessities for the transition and discharge planning that is required. Salary position with full benefits.
