LPN or Medical Assistant Certified Job Opening

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Physician during office hours and follow office clinical guidelines. Looking for LPN but open to a medical assistant. MUST have minimum of 2yrs experience in dermatology.

License:

• LPN or Medical Assistant (Certification Required)

DUTIES:

• Before starting patients, check exam rooms (for neatness, etc.), fill LN2 canister
• Patient Intakes (entering patient data into the computer in patients presence)
• Surgical assistant for procedures
• Cosmetic assistant for Botox/Dysport, various fillers and sclerotherapy
• Refill medications/Prior authorizations
• Assisting in answering clinical calls
• Suture removal
• Assist in wound checks
• Keep track of inventory for exam rooms, (report what is needed to business manager), keep clinical rooms stock with supplies, and restock when supplies arrive
• Clean, package and sterilize instruments, razors and gauze
• Place and remove patch tests
• Assist with Ipledge

Additional Requirements: MUST have background in dermatology. High School Diploma. State of CT LPN license or Certification as a Medical Assistant by an approved National Examination Agency.

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour
