Medical Technologist, FT Nights Job Opening

Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Medical Technologist for Graveyard shifts

Performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Prepares specimens for microscope examination. Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of task such as; Generalist Medical Technology duties in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, UA, coag, immunology, etc.. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Requires Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/MLS, with ASCP certification as an MT or MLS. Associate Degree MLT(ASCP) will be considered. BLS Certification required 30 days after employment. 1 year experience preferred (2 years for MLT); new MT/MLS grads considered.

This is a full-time GRAVEYARD/NIGHT position, requiring the ability to work independently in a hospital lab setting. Excellent attendance record required. Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations is required for this position.

The successful applicant must have Generalist skills including Blood Bank.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of a Medical Techno.
