Staff Physician- MD or DO Job Opening

MD or DO needed to perform physical evaluations and supervise a physicians assistant or nurse practitioner. Responsibilities include performing work evaluations for federal injured workers, initial evaluations, re-exams and referring patients to physical therapy. The supervising physician would electronically review the report and counter sign the report of a midlevel as needed. Currently, only 10 to 12 new patients are seen monthly. These are not legal cases. We DO NOT accept motor vehicle accidents, medicare or private health insurances. Our focus is providing one on one care for postal workers and letter carriers primarily.

Once the evaluation is done, Therapy is provided to prepare the patient to return to work.

This is a low volume practice designed to treat spine,muscle and joint injuries. Cases that present with other conditions are referred out. WE DO NOT PRESCRIBE ANY MEDICATION.
