Medical Technologist Job Opening

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Technologist (MT) is responsible for
operational, technical, informational, and educational systems assigned by the
Laboratory Director and is aware of, ensures
quality of, and takes ownership of the laboratory process. He/she is able
to make independent decisions within the framework of standard laboratory
practice, provide leadership by an example of integrity and professionalism,
and ultimately service our patients and providers efficiently and courteously

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

• See Hawaii State Regulations Effective 10/19/02HRS §321-13, 321-14
• Certification
• American
  Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or
• American
  Association of Bioanalysts (AAB), or
• American
  Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Hawaii State Department of Health (DOH) Clinical Laboratory license
• No experience required, but generalist experience preferred
