Veterinary Receptionist / Technician Job Opening

We are small (2 vets, 8 staff) clinic, that is growing and looking for a high energy person with a great attitude to join our team. Specifically, we're looking for a hard-working, friendly, outgoing individual who is familiar with veterinary medicine to communicate holistic and conventional medicine concepts to our clientele. Fielding client queries, scheduling appointments, checking patients in, cashing clients out, filling scripts, and tracking patient progress are duties at the reception desk. Conversing with clients, animal restraint, reviewing treatment plans, drawing blood, placing catheters, taking radiographs, and administering anesthesia are skills required (or to be acquired) as a technician.

Applicants should be comfortable working with computer software (we use Cornerstone), have good time management and organizational skills, be able to type well, and have a willingness to improve an office's processes with administrative skills. Ideally, we are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician with 3 years of experience in anesthesia and surgery, but we will consider a technician with less experience and the right attitude. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $15+ Hourly
