You would be responsible for conducting wellness screening blood draws on participants all over the state, and potentially across the nation. A representative is responsible for everything that has to do with a blood draw at many different locations. We are looking for a full time traveling phlebotomist with no travel stipulations. You would spend your time traveling around the state of Wyoming doing wellness screenings for corporate and community clients. We are constantly growing and would love to have you as a part of our team.
To inspire and empower personal well-being one person, one health screening and one partnership at a time. Wyoming Health Fairs strives to make a wake in each community by providing low cost wellness screenings for those who may otherwise not be able to afford the tests they need. We are a self-funded non-profit that has been around for over 35 years and we help around 50,000 participants each year.
Not only will your phlebotomy skills and supervisory skills grow, but also your knowledge and appreciation of this great state we live in. You will work with a team to provide an amazing service to your fellow Wyomingites. The position is full time and pays $15 per hour (with wage increasing to $16 per hour once training is complete) which is in the 90th percentile for phlebotomy wages here in Wyoming. You will constantly be learning and growing, and we encourage your ideas. We are a company full of ideas, and that means yours! There is no idea too small or too great that we won’t try to make happen.
Wyoming Health Fairs is searching for qualified applicants for our traveling phlebotomist positions. Some of the qualifications include:
- Previous experience with the vacutainer system is preferred
- Recent graduate of a phlebotomy program must have a minimum of 100+ sticks
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be willing to travel, including on “wintry” roads with little to no travel stipulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to address concerns in a professional manner
- Ensures all specimens are collected accurately according to established procedures
- Provides excellent customer service to our participants
- Ability to have flexibility with travel requirements
- Works well with supervisors and co-workers
