Job Title:

Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric & Mental Health NP)

Contracted Position with the Potomac Highlands Guild (PHG)

Summary: Outpatient Psychiatric/Mental health Assessment and Medication Management; Will work with behavioral health consumers of all populations within the Region (Hampshire, Mineral, Hardy, Grant, Pendleton Counties). Position will provide advanced, specialized, and comprehensive clinical knowledge and skill and will provide for the promotion of optimal mental health, prevention, and treatment of psychiatric disorders and mental health maintenance. Responsibilities include: assessment, diagnosing, management of mental health and psychiatric disorders, interpreting data, facilitating treatment planning, etc.

Minimum Requirements: Licensed RN or BSN in the State of West Virginia, & Master’s Degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) – licensed in the State of WV; Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing; 1 year of Behavioral Health Experience Required; Must have prescription authorization from the State Board of Nursing, Current DEA. Psychiatric Endorsement/Certification strongly preferred.

Salary: To be determined based on experience and qualifications.
