Dental Assistant Job Opening

Must have dental background and experience with Dentrix. Job duties include greeting and seating patients, taking diagnostic x-rays, communicating well to determine the issue/correct treatment, setting up and breaking down rooms, treatment planning and charting existing treatment, detailed clinical notes, and patient hand-off's to the Front Desk. Dental Assistants should also be able to fabricate temporaries, take impressions, place topical, stock rooms, write lab slips, and be able to assist the Dentist during all procedures.

OSHA and HIPAA compliance is a must.

Education & Background Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum 1 year of experience in dentistry
• Intermediate to advanced computer use and data entry skills required
• Ability to take Dental X-Rays (required)
• Experience with Dentrix (preferred)
• Knowledge of dental billing and front desk operations is a plus
• Ability to provide friendly, positive, responsive and professional customer service to patients and peers
