Director of Nurses Job Opening

NHC HealthCare, Anniston is a licensed, rehabilitation and skilled nursing center with 151 beds and we provide a wide array of therapeutic, rehabilitative and continuing care services. We provide maximum comfort in an environment that promotes dignity, encouragement and challenge. We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for our Director of Nursing position. Located in Anniston, Alabama we offer a serene setting to receive quality care in a warm, personalized manner. Our health care center is less than an hour drive from Birmingham and Douglasville (GA), and 40 minutes from Gadsden. Our center is designed with the patient's wellness in mind.

Additionally, the Director of Nursing (DON) supports the mission of NHC, exemplifies The Better Way through leadership and demeanor; represents the center in a positive manner both in the medical community and in the community as a whole.

Qualifications include:

• RN – graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in this state (Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in nursing is preferred).
• Professional experience in the practice of geriatrics, nursing administration, and other related areas.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in the areas of nursing administration, nursing practice, rehabilitation and partner relations management.
• Ability to perform physical and mental requirements of the job.
