CENTERS is currently operating university campus recreation centers at ten site locations within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe massage experience for clients.
  • Conduct effective thirty and/or sixty minute table massage sessions for clients.
  • Provide chair back massages for customized programs, special events, or special marketing promotions as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism during all massages.
  • Provide quality customer service to all clients and potential clients, regardless of fitness level, appearance, or otherwise.
  • Enforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the massage therapy program.
  • Enforce all building policies and procedures, and assist as needed during emergencies.
  • Attend all Massage Therapy and department staff meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
  • Possess state license for massage therapy.
  • Leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of standard practices in recreational sports
  • Ability to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles.
Competencies:

Technical Competencies
  • Able to apply SOAP charts to each client and keep detailed records of any unusual injury or activity.
Human Relations:
Internal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors. Contact involves troubleshooting, informing, exchanging information, negotiating, making recommendations, and giving information or instructions.
