The Med-Surg RN is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to all patients as directed by medical staff and in compliance with hospital policies. Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the work and efforts of all personnel assigned to their area. This individual relates and communicates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintains satisfactory relationships and positive communication with other departments. They will participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records and upgrading policy, procedures and skills.
