SUMMARY: The ability to interpret assembly procedures and drawings, mechanical drawings and parts lists and the discipline to adhere to Best Manufacturing Practices using product documentation.

  • Ability to use basic and complex electronic measurement devices, typical manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures, and hand tools.
  • Build and test basic and complex product to specification while meeting established quality guidelines.
  • Complete assigned jobs per established budget.
  • Properly use tools and fixtures to prevent part damage/scrap and production down time.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-Secondary technical courses/Associates Degree and/or
  • 7 years experience as Assembler I & II or in related industry or occupation
  • Basic & Complex electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to work independently

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Requirements vary based on facility location and product.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Soldering
  • Wire Bonding
