Look for an energetic Assistant Administrator to join our growing team!

The Assistant Administrator is a key employee in our Assisted Living Community. The person employed in this position assists the Administrator in all areas of administration, focusing on all aspects of Human Resource; Facility Life/Safety compliance and oversight which includes Maintenance and Housekeeping. State Regulations; Resident Care; Billing: NSA/UAI; Food Service; and Activities will be part of the ground work to be established for Licensure opportunities for Assistant Administrator. It is considered that the Assistant Administrator is interested in pursuing an Administrator’s License at some future time.

The Assistant Administrator must have the ability to nurture working relationship with other staff members, Physicians, agencies, and the elderly. This position must have organizational ability, discriminating judgment, leadership qualifications and be personally trustworthy and of good character.

Professional Expectations:

  • Present oneself in a clean, orderly manner setting the standard for others to follow.
  • Manage the front desk as the “gatekeeper” for Administrator and Nursing to lessen distractions
  • Be willing to adapt to changing demands.
  • Be helpful and polite to residents, understanding their needs and respecting their privacy and property
  • Handle conflict in a calm rational manner
  • Be dependable and punctual.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Assisted Living philosophy and Idaho Assisted Living Rules & Regulations.
  • Keep confidential all information pertaining to residents and staff – professional/personal boundaries
  • Hold self-accountable to the same standards as you hold staff
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Resident Rights and Responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • Med Tech/ Caregiver: 3 years (Preferred)
