***Our client is looking to hire a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional to join their team***
Hours 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:00p or 11:00am - 7:00p
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform client screening, intake, orientation, and assessment functions necessary to complete admission as required by Program Director.
- Guide clients in individual, group, and family formats.
- Respond to client crises and emergencies as needed.
- Document developments and important events in accordance with clinical policies for reporting and record keeping.
- Develop person centered treatment plans that are measurable, coherent and reflective of client's progress and development.
- Consistently enforce rules and programmatic procedures.
- Provide direct client monitoring as needed, including medication monitoring.
- Maintain compliance with all documentation requirements.
- Maintain client records to comply with CARF and state licensing standards, using the Welligent Electronic Health Record.
- Assist in the provision of staff orientation and ongoing training regarding clinical policies and procedures. Participate in the support and training of other staff members.
- Maintain positive working relationship with agencies, resources, and families to coordinate services for client care; provide information on substance abuse use disorder treatment resources and services; and make necessary referrals.
- Complete all Quality Assurance Record Review Corrections as indicated on the form.
- Submit all Quality Assurance Record Review Corrections to the LCDP Manager
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and required training to ensure continuum and quality of care.
- Meet with clinical supervisor and manager on a regular basis.
- Attend all staff meetings.
- Serve as a rolemodel through positive, appropriate conduct and participation.
- Project a professional image to the public. Dress in a professional manner.
- Facilitate EBT groups as assigned.
- Maintain ADP files and complete e-learning requirements in a timely fashion.
- Maintain current licensure and/or credentialing. Maintain CPR/FA certifications and CPI annual training.
- Ensure client confidentiality in accordance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to perform the core functions of a licensed chemical dependency professional.
- Ability to develop rapport with substance-abusing populations and families.
- Ability to apply organizational management skills and maintain self and client discipline.
- Ability to prepare and maintain required documentation.
- Ability to comply with internal, local, state and federal regulations and policies.
- Ability to work and communicate with others.
