*** Our client is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join their team. Must have current RI RN license and experience working with individuals with substance abuse.***
Full Time & Part time Overnight positions available
Salary is negotiable and based on experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess, as needed, patient’s individual needs on the basis of assessment and data collection to ensure proper admission per funding regulations.
Perform client medication data entry necessary to complete admission using the Electronic Health Record as required by Program Manager/Director.
Assist Case Managers to develop treatment plans that are coherent and reflective of client’s progress and development. Involve client appropriately in the process and document in the Case Note section of the Electronic Health Record.
Implement doctor’s orders, administer specified medication, monitor and record vital signs as needed, and maintain medical/ nursing records.
Observe patients and document their responses to treatment and report out these findings to staff in daily staff via email updates.
Carry out administrative procedures in compliance with program policies.
Provide medical documentation and medication monitoring training to staff.
Participate in Case Management treatment team weekly meeting providing patient’s progress and treatment.
Monitor clients in individual, group, and family formats.
Discharge patients in accordance with established policy.
Respond to client crises and emergencies as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to perform the core functions of a substance abuse health professional.
Ability to develop rapport with substance-abusing populations and families.
Ability to apply organizational management skills and maintain self and client discipline.
Ability to prepare and maintain required documentation.
Ability to comply with internal, local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
Ability to work and communicate with others.
