Veterinary Technician Job Opening

We are a brand new private practice located in Buckeye, Arizona looking for a self motivated veterinary technician with a positive attitude to join our team. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the veterinary field as a technician. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently and have excellent communication skills and compassion. CVT or RVT is plus a but not required.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Triage and obtain patient history

-Venipuncture-Placing intravenous catheters

-Assist clinician with diagnostic procedures

-Patient care including treatments

-Familiar with performing dental cleanings and dental x-rays

-Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients

-Surgical prep and monitoring patients under anesthesia

-Client education on routine pet care
