Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Job Opening

Our holistic minded dental office is looking for a new member to our dental team. We have an immediate, full time, opening for a Dental Assistant.

We are an established, fun, patient centered practice and we really enjoy what we do! This position will require you to build relationships with patients, assist the dentist, communicate on the phone and most importantly have a positive attitude. Applicant must be warm, caring, self-motivated, adaptable, organized, able to get along well with others and demonstrate exceptional follow-up without having to be reminded. Education in dental assisting is a must along with a willingness to learn.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Main duties include but are not limited to:

- Assisting the dentist with all patient procedures (including Cerec single visit crowns)

- Taking digital x-rays and diagnostic photographs as needed

- Preparing restorative setup’s prior to patients arrival

- Properly cleaning of patient rooms after each appointment

- Keeping up on sterilization throughout each day

- Completing procedure notes after each patient

-Taking patient impressions, pouring up and mounting models

- Ordering and tracking dental supplies

- Preparing, tracking and sending out dental lab cases

- Patient relations & communications - Answering phones, greeting patients, corresponding with other dental offices and scheduling patients as needed

License:

• Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
