• Discuss the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures
• Perform office management tasks

• Graduate of ADA-accredited dental assisting program

• CPR License (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)

• Compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA training)
