ER Attendant Job Opening

The Emergency Care Technician (ECT) performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the emergent and urgent needs and comfort of patients while assisting the RN and physician with functions in the Emergency Department. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The Unit Secretary (US) coordinates communications between unit/department and other departments of the organization. He/she performs other clerical duties using computer desktop applications. The Unit Secretary relays messages to appropriate personnel and assist in maintaining the medical record. The ECT/US participates in the orientation and training of personnel.

High school graduate or equivalent. BLS certification. Some college preferred.
