The Physical Therapist role is a professional who administers physical therapy care within the scope of the Physical Therapy Practice Act. The Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for residents through the process of evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of therapy interventions. This role is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team that provides the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest physical, mental, and psycho social well-being, consistent with the resident’s assessment and plan of care.
Qualifications:
- Must be graduate of an approved program of Physical Therapy and currently licensed or license pending in the state of Minnesota.
- Candidate must have a passion for working with the geriatric population.
- Must be in acceptable physical and emotional health.
- We are looking for someone that has excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions to inform residents, and staff members.
- Must demonstrate good clinical judgment and critical thinking in the implementation of patient care.
Schedule:
This position is schedule 72-80 hours per two week pay period including working a rotating Saturday. Typical hours vary in between 7AM-5:30PM (flexible based on workload).
