Therapist - Substance Abuse Job Opening

Job Summary :

Provide mental health services in a community based setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and direct client caseload as well as individual and group treatment of clients.
• Provide clinical documentation which is accurate, timely and in accordance with all regulatory standards.
• Provide administrative paperwork needed to bill and collect for services provided
• Maintain clinical records to comply with all applicable standards.
• Provide Crisis Intervention and Resolution services as needed.
• Provide consultation to individuals(s) and/or group(s) regarding mental health topics or specific case referrals.
• Provide clinical service in other clinical settings as needed.
• Know and follow established program policies and procedures.
• Exhibit proper attitude and work ethic as established by Program Director and Center standards.
• Meet productivity standards as defined by the Center.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of various clinical interventions
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to be an effective participating member of a team.
• Ability to document correctly the goals, interventions, and outcomes of services provided.
• Ability to provide individual, family, and group treatment.

Credentials and Experience

BA Degree in Human Service Field and Certified as a qualified substance abuse professional by an independent Board.**

Or**
Master’s Degree in a Human Service Field**
