Physical Therapist Job Opening

We are currently seeking a highly organized, self-motivated and responsible Physical Therapist to join our staff.

As a Physical Therapist with Rehab Select Hillview Terrace, you will perform evaluations on patients in order to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. You will also identify and document goals as well as anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation.

Responsibilities and Duties

Additional responsibilities include:

• Testing and measuring patients' strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Planning, preparing and carrying out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning.
• Instructing patients and families in treatment procedures to be continued at home
• Attending staff meetings and facility meetings
• Participating in continuing education classes.

The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. We are looking for a go-getter-someone who is assertive, dependable and has an uplifting personality which makes them a pleasure to work with and around.

Additional requirements include:

• Possessing a Physical Therapy degree and licensure in the state of Alabama
• Being physically able to assist individuals
• Having some computer literacy
• Possessing strong listening, speaking, and critical thinking and reading comprehension skills
• Being socially perceptive
• Strong time-management skills
