Veterinary Receptionist Job Opening

Animal Dermatology Clinic is seeking a veterinary receptionist. We are a multi-doctor referral practice specializing in dermatology. Our clinic is part of a large group of dermatologists that include 9 full-time clinics in the United States, and several international clinics. Our doctors and staff travel to several satellite clinics for the convenience of our clients. We strive to be the leaders in our field; we participate in drug trial studies, dermatology resident training, and studies to advance the knowledge of our field.

Duties (including but not limited to):

• Client service
• Answer phone calls
• Take accurate messages and book appointments
• Maintain charts and computer records
• Pharmacy and retail sales
• Marketing implementation
• Maintenance/ housekeeping
• Financial responsibilities

Education and Physical Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business)
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is a plus
• Dependable attendance is required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
