We are currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team!

Ensures/provides quality specimens for laboratory testing. Performs laboratory testing in order to produce timely and accurate data for patients, QC and proficiency testing. Reports clinical data accurately and efficiently so that care givers receive timely patient information. Maintains testing instruments to ensure maximum up-times. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards in order to satisfy compliance requirements. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to meet deadlines and work under stress. Maintains personal/professional development to ensure effective job performance. Assists with overviewing the department/section for optimum operation.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Science (preferably Medical Technology) or Associates in Science. Nationally accepted laboratory certification: MLS(ASCP), or MT(AMT), or MT(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) must hold certification upon hire or within 6 months of hire or date of transfer
