Physical Therapist - Guttenberg/Lisbon/Mount Vernon, IA Area Job Opening

Reports to Therapy Consultant and Team Leader: A Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicating with families, physicians and other health team members, and maintaining documentation of services in the medical records. Therapist will provide in-services and training on an ongoing basis in restorative and maintenance techniques for facility staff. Supervise assistants as required by licensure. Functions within the parameters of a LTC facility as set by the Administrator.

Qualification:

Graduate of APTA accredited program and licensed by Iowa Board of Physical Therapy. Possess good oral and written communication skills specific to the English language including interpersonal and organizational skills. Must pass a pre-employment physical, DCI and abuse registry background checks, without restriction, and be free of communicable diseases. Immunizations should be current as recommended by the CDC (unless contraindicated).

Recommend immunizations be current in accordance to recommendations by CDC (unless contraindicated due to allergy), or natural immunity acquired by illness with specific disease. Must pass criminal background and abuse registry checks and be eligible for unrestricted employment.
