Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic Physical Therapist for a full time permanent position at our Nampa Health Plaza Outpatient Clinic. The ideal candidate would have one to two years of experience. Spine experience / interest preferable. We would be willing to consider a new graduate, who is excited to learn in an open encouraging environment, working closely with other therapists. STARS is a comprehensive therapy provider with sites in Idaho and Oregon.

CARF Accreditation

Skills, knowledge, education and experience:

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Idaho Physical Therapist Licensing Board.
  • Graduated from an accredited school as Physical Therapist with a B.S., M.S., or M.P.T. degree and completion of the required field work and internships.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
  • Two to Three year's ortho outpatient experience. New Grads will be considered.
  • Must understand all basic physical therapy skills and be able to perform them accurately; must demonstrate good evaluation and observation skills for strength assessment, gait analysis, equipment recommendations, home evaluations, and range of motion assessment.
  • Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used in physical medicine.
  • Ability to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure.
  • Cognizant of safety issues and demonstrate skills in reading and writing, and able to communicate professionally.
  • Must have organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve.
