Licensed Social Worker Job Opening

Temporary Position

Applicant must be a Licensed Social Worker (LBSW) in good standing with the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners. The social worker will act as a liaison and representative of the residents' social interest and to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards in govering the facility; and as may be directed byt eh Administrator, to ensure that the medically-related emotional and socila needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Qualifications:

• Must be registered as a Licensed Social Worker in good standing
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Earned a degree in Social Work at an accredited school of Social Work
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly
