Effectively providing the necessary supplies and equipment to various departments of a long term care or skilled nursing facility takes an organized and detail oriented professional. Position Summary:

The Central Supply Aide is responsible for providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures to various departments in the facility. They will maintain supply and storage rooms in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. When the Central Supply Aide handles supplies and equipment, they will ensure that all established safety procedures and precautions are followed. The Central Supply Aide will also have the responsibility of checking invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. with incoming merchandise. With the various responsibilities and access to sensitive information the Central Supply Aide will have, it is essential that they maintain total confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information in order to ensure patient/ rights are protected at all times. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Central Supply Aide will be responsible for other various tasks as they are assigned to them by their supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director, and motivator.
• Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D
• Able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to utilize both local and company resources in the execution or job responsibilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care central supply position.
• Must speak, read, and write fluently in English
• Must have reliable transportation
