Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor -- Part-Time Job Opening

Part-time flex positions on second and third shifts available for LPN House Supervisors. Weekends required. Previous experience in the nursing field with a focus in assisted living is preferred but new nurses with strong work ethics and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply. Competitive wages. You will report directly to the Unit Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor resident medications
• Oversee health and wellbeing of residents and monitor care
• Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms and/or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and family members re: resident care
• Supervise C.N.A. staff
• Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Alabama LPN License and current CPR Certification
• Ability to build rapport with residents and sponsors
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Good supervisory skills
• Strong work ethics
• Ability to focus with multiple interruptions
• Ability to work alone or with other staff and departments
• A commitment to the facility and the residents who reside here
