PT - Description
The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position"s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The PT functions in accordance with their State Practice Act.

PT Requirements
  • Masters or DPT from an accredited institution {graduate of an APTA accredited PT program}
  • PT license to practice in the state
  • Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment necessary in providing physical therapy
  • must understand and follow policies and procedures of the department and demonstrate compliance with accreditation and regulatory compliance requirements.
