Nurse Practitioner Job Opening

Tully Hill Chemical Dependency Treatment Center is dedicated to the belief that chemical dependency is a disease – chronic, progressive and above all, treatable. Tully Hill is a 50-bed inpatient rehab, detox and outpatient facility dedicated to providing treatment for substance abuse. Tully Hill is accepting applications for a part-time Nurse Practitioner.

Will ensure high quality health care to patients seeking treatment for chemical dependency in accordance with CARF standards, NYS OASAS regulations and other State and Federal regulations. Responsible for assessing the health status of patients by eliciting health and medical history, conducting physical examinations, clinical laboratory tests, diagnosing and treating acute illness and physical conditions, counseling patients to ensure patient understanding of and compliance with therapeutic regimen. Approximately 10-20 hours/ week. Must have some weekday availability. Flexible hours.

Team oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and computer skills required. Valid New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and CPR certification required. Demonstrable knowledge of chemical dependency and 12-Step philosophy preferred but not required. Previous experience working in an electronic medical record environment preferred.
