    • The LPN Team Nurse is responsible for providing quality care to an assigned group of Residents/Patients on a given shift. The LPN Team Nurse is responsible for assuring care is performed in accordance with their job description, policies and procedures.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent from accredited school of nursing or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maine with knowledge in Geriatric Nursing.
    • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
    • Annual Alzheimer’s Training.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
