Veterinary Technician - Full Time Job Opening

Jaffrey-Rindge Veterinary Hospital is an independent one doctor practice in Jaffrey, NH. We are seeking a full time Veterinary Technician, Certified or at least 3 years of experience. The applicant needs to be reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently, organized and friendly.

The applicant needs to possess the skills to monitor anesthesia and assist with surgeries and dentals. They also need IV catheter placement and blood draw skills. In-house laboratory and pharmacy knowledge are also necessary. A high level of comfort with patient restraint and assisting the veterinarian during examination and treatments is required. They must have a desire to effectively educate clients about the wellness of their pets, such as dental care, diets, surgery discharges, medications, and preventative care. They need to be willing to assist with receptionist duties.
