Patient Observer Job Opening

Working under the supervision of the Charge RN, this position ensures the safety and well-being of the patients. The Patient Observer uses the ability to react quickly and notifies Charge Nurse of any unsafe, changing or unusual conditions on the unit.

Certified Nurse Assistant, Home Health Aide and/or Nursing Student preferred. High School graduate or equivalent required. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Tolerance and respect for the patient. Must complete Patient Observer training session. Previous experience in medical or behavioral healthcare and understanding of addiction preferred.

All positions require a TST, MMR Titer, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC), and satisfactory criminal background records check.
