Dental Assistant Job Opening

The dental assistant is the extended hand of the dentist and a vital member of the dental health professional team. Job duties include setting up the operatory for each patient, greeting and seating patients, preparing the patient for the dental exam or treatment, making accurate chart notes in Dentrix, performing x-rays, assisting the dentist in all dental procedures, and educating patients in dental hygiene, post-operative care, and fillings, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred. Graduation from an accredited school in dental assisting or one-year experience as a dental assistant preferred. Bilingual preferred. Must have and maintain a current Basic Life Support (CPR) certificate. Working knowledge of computer required. Previous experience with dental software preferred. Must be motivated and organized.

HIRING RANGE: $18.36 - $20.40
