Medical Technologist, General Laboratory

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Nights

Position Summary: This position is designed to coordinate workflow activities throughout the department in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgement and discretion in performing duties listed below, in addition to, job criteria as defined by the Medical Technologist job description.

Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

Minimum Experience: A combination of equivalent Laboratory training education and clinical experience as defined in the Medical Technologist job description is acceptable.

Licensure Requirement: Licensed as a Medical Technologist by the State of Tennessee.
