The Program Managerposition is responsible for the development, implementation and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. It requires the employee to ensure care services are provided and that employees maintain a fun, active, loving and caring environment. The Program Manager will oversee client case loads and supervise assigned personnel. It requires response to emergency and other care needs on a day to day basis.

Qualifications:

The qualifications to be a Program Manager is a Bachelors degree or higher in the Human Services field Minimum of 1 year experience as a manager responsible for service plan development and implementation for individuals with developmental disabilities Current Universal Precautions Training and First Aid/CPR (or receive training within 90 days of employment) Free of communicable diseases Criminal History Background Check: Cleared to work with developmentally disabled Proficient use of the English language with ability to create, review and edit relevant material Proficient ability to use the computer to include: word processing, spreadsheets, and database experience Must possess valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance

Duties May include:

The Program Manager duties may include being responsible for knowing and enforcing IDAPA policy and Agency policies and ensuring that each policy is met regarding client services and staff management.

Responsible for resident assessment, implementation, reviews (at least quarterly), Individual Instruction Service Planning, coordinate outside services, etc.

Responsibility for ensuring the proper disbursement of residents' money, as needed, and the proper recording of such transactions.

Supervise assigned support staff.

Assist in the recruitment, employment, performance, evaluation, promotion and discharge of assigned support staff.

Participate in the scheduling, planning and procuring of materials and information for staff meetings and in-service education programs.

Prepare and participate in Health & Welfare audit. Must be available for On-Call rotation and complete On-Call duties.
