Dominion Diagnostics is the premier provider of comprehensive clinical quantitative urine drug testing, medication monitoring and support services nationwide. Serving hundreds of clients in a variety of medical specialties, we provide actionable information to improve patient care and medical outcomes in the treatment of Chronic Pain and Addiction Medicine. We currently have two Part-Time positions working 24 hours per week including every other Saturday.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Serving hundreds of clients in a variety of medical specialties, we provide actionable information to improve patient care and medical outcomes in the treatment of Chronic Pain and Addiction Medicine. We currently have two Part-Time positions working 24 hours per week including every other Saturday.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains laboratory supplies inventory including chemical reagents;
- Responsible for the receipt and storage of laboratory supplies;
- Maintains good housekeeping of the laboratory environment;
- Maintains glassware by picking up, cleaning, and distributing to proper locations in the laboratory;
- Daily disposal of biological samples;
- Assist Medical Laboratory Technologists/Technicians with simple laboratory tasks;
- Prepares, organizes, distributes specimens for testing in designated laboratory departments;
- Occasionally works in other laboratory departments as needed to achieve company goals;
- Performs daily temperature quality control and reporting. Documents and notifies supervisors of any deviations;
- Follows documented procedures for ensuring integrity of laboratory specimens;
- Adheres to the company’s safety procedures, including infection control and hazardous waste policies and protocols;
- Adheres to the laboratory’s quality control policies;
- Develop understanding of appropriate SOPs and policies;
- Able to lift 10lbs;
- Able to communicate effectively;
- Maintains integrity and discretion in safeguarding confidential information.
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, degree a plus;
- Experience in a laboratory or healthcare environment a plus;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Must work well as part of a team;
- Must be detail oriented;
- Must have good time management skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
