Primary Purpose:

Oversees the nursing operations and provides clinical expertise to one of our three pediatric offices. Coordinates, supervises and assists in the development of the nursing staff. Covers floor nurse and triage as needed.

Qualifications:

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications: LPN

Experience: Minimum of four years staff nurse experience, in an independent practice setting and one year in a primary care or pediatric area preferred.

Special Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrates competence in clinical leadership skills. Exhibits maturity with ability to work in stressful situations. Patience, tact, professional and good communication skills with personnel, medical staff, patients and public are essential. Ability to use initiative and judgements devising techniques to meet emergency situations and/or problem solving. Proficiency using electronic medical records.

Equipment and Materials Knowledge: Medical equipment as it relates to patient care; Computer equipment needed for assigned duties.
