Medical Assistant Job Opening

Job Summary

The medical assistant will escort patients to exam rooms, measure patients’ vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, interview patients and perform/assist with procedures under supervision of physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. They will ensure that all related reports, labs, and information is available in patients’ electronic medical record prior to the patients’ visit. They will also keep exam rooms stocked with medical supplies. They will triage and process messages and provide feedback and answers to patients/ physicians/ pharmacists, as well as other duties as assigned. The medical assistants will also need to be able to competently and confidently draw blood.

Your employment is subject to a three-month probationary period. This period of time allows you and Integrity Family Care to determine if the position is suitable for you.If the company decides to discontinue employment within this probationary period, you will be entitled to reasonable notice as outlined in the Employment Standards Act.

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour
