Overview

St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team! The Respiratory Therapist treats individuals with health care issues affecting the cardiopulmonary system. The Respiratory Therapist performs and initial assessment of the patient, performs basic and advanced therapeutic interventions, documents care based on standards of care and practice, and completes on-going assessments as determined by the patient condition. The Respiratory Therapist also involves the patient, family and/or other significant individuals in care decisions, coordinates care between other professional disciplines, and serves as a role model and mentor to new and less experienced staff.


Required Criteria


  • License: Valid license to practice respiratory therapy in the state of practice
  • Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials by National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification


Preferred Criteria


Respiratory Therapists at St. Luke’s need to have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
